SAP PP/QM Specialist II – Demand and Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• You will play a vital role in the advancement and maintenance of SAP for industrial processes, particularly focusing on Manufacturing (PP) and Quality Management (QM). Your contributions will be crucial in:

• Acting as the functional SAP PP/QM expert for industry-specific requirements, ensuring compliance with best practices;

• Collaborating closely on the integration of industrial systems (MES, automation, etc.) with the SAP ecosystem to maximize synergy and data exchange;

• Directly aiding in the definition and validation of SAP S/4HANA deployment templates tailored for the industrial sector, paving the way for future innovations;

• Supporting the technological advancement of SAP at our manufacturing sites by identifying opportunities for enhancement and automation;

• Engaging in projects and initiatives related to the SAP ERP and its integrations, ensuring the delivery of effective, business-aligned solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• We are looking for a professional with substantial experience and in-depth technical expertise in SAP within an industrial context;

• Technical and functional proficiency in SAP modules PP/PI (Planning and Production) and QM (Quality Management), with practical experience in shop floor operations;

• Demonstrated experience in integrating industrial systems (such as MES and PI System) and data platforms (GCP) with SAP;

• Knowledge and experience in defining and/or implementing SAP S/4HANA solutions for manufacturing environments, including intralogistics (SAP EWM);

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the IT project lifecycle;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and industrial stakeholders;

• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

• Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have:

• Experience leading technical SAP projects or workstreams;

• Knowledge of other SAP modules pertinent to industry, such as MM (Materials Management) or PM (Plant Maintenance);

• Experience with integration tools like SAP BTP, SAP CPI, PO, or Apache Kafka;

• Proficiency in ABAP and debugging for analysis and optimization;

• Familiarity with the SAP Activate framework.
