SAP PP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive SAP S/4HANA implementations specifically for Production Planning (PP)

• Spearhead business process design, blueprinting, and solution architecture tailored for manufacturing operations

• Configure and enhance core PP functionalities, including MRP (MRP Live in S/4HANA), Production Orders / Process Orders, BOMs, Routings / Work Centers, as well as Capacity Planning & Scheduling

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure SAP solutions are in sync with shop floor operations and production workflows

• Direct integration design efforts with MM, EWM, SD, QM, and FI modules

• Manage data migration, system testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live initiatives

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest best practices by leveraging S/4HANA capabilities

• Provide leadership during hypercare and post-go-live support phases

• Mentor junior consultants and guide cross-functional teams effectively

• Collaborate closely with technical teams on enhancements involving RICEFW objects

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP PP

• Demonstrated success with multiple full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (3 or more preferred)

• Extensive expertise in discrete and/or process manufacturing environments

• Practical experience with MRP Live, Advanced Planning concepts, and production execution

• Significant integration experience with MM, QM, SD, EWM, and FI

• Familiarity with complex manufacturing scenarios such as make-to-stock, make-to-order, and engineer-to-order

• In-depth knowledge of master data including BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and Production Versions

• Exposure to Fiori apps and S/4HANA innovations in the manufacturing sector

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities

• SAP certification in S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) is highly advantageous

• Experience with PP-DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) is a significant plus

• Previous experience with manufacturing clients in North America (Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, etc.) is preferred

• Knowledge of shop floor integration / MES systems is beneficial
