SAP PP Consultant – 4+ Y

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements pertaining to production planning and execution.

• Design, configure, and implement SAP PP solutions to facilitate production planning, capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and shop floor execution.

• Tailor SAP PP functionalities as necessary to fulfill specific business requirements, including work center setup, routings, BOMs, and production scheduling.

• Conduct system testing, integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP PP implementations.

• Deliver training and support to end-users regarding SAP PP functionalities and processes.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to SAP PP configurations, interfaces, and integrations.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments, best practices, and industry trends in SAP PP.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and IT, to ensure that SAP PP solutions align with overall business goals.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to refine production planning processes and enhance SAP PP functionality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience with SAP PP, encompassing implementation, configuration, and support.

• Strong comprehension of production planning and execution processes along with best practices.

• Practical experience with SAP PP modules, including Production Orders, Planned Orders, Capacity Planning, and MRP.

• Expertise in SAP PP integration with other modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD) and third-party systems.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• SAP PP certification(s) are preferred.
