📋 Description

• The SAP Plan to Stock Subject Matter Expert (SME) acts as the main authority for S/4HANA implementations.

• This position involves designing the complete supply chain and production lifecycle, ensuring that Client manufacturing, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes are effectively integrated with S/4HANA Finance.

• The SME guarantees that inventory levels, production expenses, and material movements are accurately recorded to meet Client Working Capital Fund (NWCF) requirements and offer real-time insight into Fleet readiness.

• The P2S DON SME is tasked with directing the design of compliant supply chain frameworks and industrial integration.

• Develop the integration between shop-floor activities and the S/4HANA Digital Core, concentrating on Discrete and Project-based manufacturing for Client weapon systems, ship maintenance, and aircraft repair.

• Supervise the configuration of Material Ledger and Actual Costing to ensure that Client Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S) are valued in line with Department of Defense (DoD) and CLIENT financial policies.

• Set up Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to enhance Client mission readiness, ensuring that lead times, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategies are optimized for global Fleet support and industrial shop-floor requirements.

• Ensure that the 'Plan to Stock' lifecycle delivers a comprehensive 'Floor-to-Book' audit trail for Client inventory, fulfilling Existence and Completeness (E&C) requirements for physical materials.

• Focus on System Integration & Industrial Strategy.

• Convert Client-specific industrial business rules into standardized S/4HANA processes while addressing gaps associated with federal supply chain security and specialized MRO needs.

• Oversee the functional design of interfaces between S/4HANA and external systems such as PDREP (Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program) or legacy Client supply systems (e.g., STARS-V, R-Supply).

• Collaborate with EWM and QM workstreams to ensure that Client materials are stored, inspected, and distributed in accordance with strict military specifications (MIL-SPEC).

• Design the flow of production costs to guarantee that labor, overhead, and material costs are accurately allocated to the Client Standard Line of Accounting (SLOA).

• Offer insights on how S/4HANA can minimize 'excess on hand' inventory while enhancing the availability of essential parts for the warfighter.

• Provide training on Client-specific logistics terminology (e.g., NIIN, NSN, Cog, Routing, Work Center) and the operational requirements of NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and NAVSUP.

• Identify opportunities to leverage SAP Fiori for real-time insights into production bottlenecks, material shortages, and shipyard capacity.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in SAP PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management), with extensive knowledge of Material Ledger and Cost Object Controlling.

• Subject Matter Expertise in CLIENT Industrial/Logistics Operations, including an understanding of NWCF (Client Working Capital Fund) business models.

• Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD).

• A proven record in Federal/DoD ERP Implementations, particularly in managing the intricate 'Plan-to-Fulfill' lifecycle within an industrial setting.

• Strong comprehension of Federal Accounting Standards (SFFAS) in relation to Inventory and Related Property.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).

• Active government Secret Clearance is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
