This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Collaborate with SI (Deloitte) to assist in the Explore / Detail Design phase, ensuring the SAP Best Practices are applied to the PRRT solution.
• Partner with SI and business units to deploy SAP PaPM in an Upstream Oil & Gas context.
• Concentrate on the modeling and reporting of the Australian Petroleum Resource Rent Tax (PRRT).
• Evaluate product backlog items from the PRRT Fit-to-Standard workshop, identify Fit-Gaps, and provide guidance to SI on developing scalable PaPM solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and external data sources.
• Experienced SAP PaPM Functional Solution Architect/SME with specific expertise in Petroleum Resource Rent Tax (PRRT).
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP PaPM, including data models, allocations, and calculation engine.
• Proven track record in at least 1-2 complete PaPM implementations.
• Strong understanding of integration with S/4HANA and external data sources.
• Capability to design solutions that align with standard functionalities and best practices.
• Experience in leading cross-functional discussions involving Finance, Tax, Costing, and Joint Venture Accounting.
• Proficient in extracting and manipulating data from SAP S/4HANA based on GL Accounts, Cost Centers, WBS, Joint Venture, and Recovery Indicators, and restructuring them within the PaPM layer.
• Familiarity with the Oil & Gas sector; experience with PRRT or similar tax frameworks is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Fit-to-Standard methodology.
• Understanding of financial data structures (for instance, Universal Journal) and allocation logic.
• Awareness of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud clean core principles for enhancing PAPM capabilities.
