This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• The SAP Offshore Delivery Lead is tasked with overseeing all offshore resources assigned across various projects, ensuring that quality standards are met and timelines are adhered to.
• This position guarantees the seamless delivery of project tasks and effective collaboration with onshore Delivery Managers.
• It demands robust stakeholder management, planning skills, and hands-on operational oversight for daily delivery, resource availability, and team performance.
• Assign project tasks (distributing workload), track progress, and confirm that deliverables are completed according to the defined scope.
• Facilitate daily/weekly follow-ups on execution status, identifying blockers, risks, and dependencies.
• Attend project meetings as a representative of offshore teams and convey the status of offshore delivery.
• Collaborate closely with onshore Delivery Managers for planning, reporting, and addressing escalations.
• Ensure that there is alignment between offshore teams and project timelines, milestones, and expectations.
• Assist in the onboarding of new offshore resources to the assigned projects.
• Maintain an up-to-date overview of resource allocation, utilization, and availability.
• Monitor leaves, planned time off, and unplanned absences and proactively update project managers.
• Prepare delivery reports, weekly status updates, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, delivery standards, and documentation guidelines.
• Identify risks early and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within offshore teams.
• Provide daily leadership for offshore teams, ensuring motivation, clarity, and accountability.
• Conduct regular check-ins, feedback discussions, and performance evaluations.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore delivery management.
• A strong grasp of IT delivery processes, project lifecycles, and service management.
• Capability to track deliverables, manage dependencies, and tackle operational challenges effectively.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent skills in people management and conflict resolution.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders—clear, concise, and proactive.
