SAP IS-U Consultant, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business needs and convert them into effective SAP IS-U solutions.

• Set up and tailor SAP IS-U modules including Billing & Invoicing, Device Management, Customer Service, Meter Data Management (EDM), Market Communication, Tariff and Rate Configuration, and FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable).

• Facilitate workshops to gather and understand customer requirements.

• Design, test, and implement enhancements and process optimizations within SAP IS-U.

• Assist with SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation initiatives.

• Draft functional specifications and work in collaboration with ABAP developers.

• Conduct system testing, provide user training, and offer support during the go-live phase.

• Deliver application support and resolve production issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with SAP IS-U in utility or energy sectors.

• Strong expertise in one or more IS-U domains such as Billing, Device Management, Market Communication, EDM, or FI-CA.

• Familiarity with SAP customization and process design.

• Comprehensive understanding of utility industry processes and regulations.

• Outstanding analytical and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in the German language (typically B2–C1) along with good command of English.
