SAP EWM Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive implementation of SAP EWM for prominent retail, logistics, or automotive organizations.

• Collaborate with clients to delineate business processes according to industry standards and integrate them into SAP SCM.

• Oversee project team management and core business team collaboration to ensure on-time and cost-effective program execution.

• Design presale solutions for new business opportunities, defining project specifications and conducting pilot demonstrations for prospective clients.

• Skilled in managing project scope, budget, and customer expectations while providing technical solution design and system configuration.

• Integrate production processes, perform quality inspections, and manage serial number tracking.

• Act as the liaison between the ERP System and the EWM System.

• Conduct analytics within Extended Warehouse Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of overall IT experience, including 2 full cycle project executions as an EWM functional consultant in S4 Hana.

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, IT Engineering, or a related field.

• Expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management with implementation experience, including strategy and consulting for EWM. Hands-on experience in configuration, writing functional specifications for complex developments, and managing cutover activities is essential.

• Proficient in identifying and translating business functionalities to the team for EWM projects.

• In-depth functional knowledge of SAP EWM and a solid understanding of its integration with other modules.

• Experience in full life cycle implementation, including blueprinting, fit-gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go-live phases.

• Outstanding team management abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of EWM Standard Processes.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Excellent capability to comprehend business processes.

• Proficient in documentation, attentive listening, and dynamic thinking.

• Good grasp of integration with ERP/S4 systems.

• Familiarity with fit-to-gap analysis.

• Ability to generate innovative ideas that deliver value to clients.

• Knowledge of various deployment options and capability to assume a solution architect role.

• Strong communication skills suitable for client-facing roles.

• Capacity to positively influence project change management for clients through effective engagement and value-added recommendations.

• Understanding of the SDLC process is a must.
