SAP Consultant, ABAP, Fiori, Basis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver second-level functional and technical assistance across various SAP modules (PP, PS, WM, MM, SD, FI, CO, CS), addressing issues that encompass multiple domains.

• Create and sustain custom ABAP programs, which include reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData).

• Enhance and maintain SAP Fiori applications, ensuring they are in line with business needs and SAP design standards.

• Execute SAP Basis operational tasks such as system monitoring (SM21, SM37), transport management (STMS), and user administration (SU01).

• Diagnose end-to-end processes (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay) and work closely with module specialists to uphold process integrity.

• Improve existing ABAP code for better performance, especially in HANA environments (CDS views, SQL optimization).

• Assist with S/4HANA migration projects, offering cross-module functional and technical knowledge.

• Ensure adherence to SOX regulations and internal documentation guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years (preferably over 7) of experience in SAP ERP ECC, with practical skills in at least four of the following modules: PP, PS, WM, MM, SD, FI, CO, CS.

• Demonstrated ABAP development capabilities: reports, forms, user exits, BAdIs, and interface programming (IDoc, RFC, BAPI).

• Experience with SAP Fiori, including the maintenance, extension, or development of custom Fiori applications utilizing SAPUI5.

• Knowledge of SAP Basis responsibilities: transport management, system monitoring, and user administration.

• Proficiency in German (B2+) and English (B2+) is essential.

• Experience in the manufacturing, logistics, or defense industries is highly regarded.

• Openness to occasional travel for workshops or go-live support.
