This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take the lead and provide support for comprehensive S/4HANA implementation and migration projects (including Greenfield, Brownfield, and selective data transition strategies) focusing on the CO module.
• Collect, assess, and document business requirements while converting them into functional specifications and SAP CO configurations.
• Configure and tailor essential CO sub-modules such as Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing (CO-PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Implement and maintain both Account-Based and Costing-Based COPA, utilizing the S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and margin analysis.
• Facilitate the integration of CO with FI, MM, SD, and PP modules to guarantee a smooth cross-module data exchange.
• Conduct system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Carry out data migration tasks, validation, and reconciliation during the S/4HANA conversion process.
• Create functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
• Offer cutover assistance, hypercare, and post-go-live production support while resolving incidents and managing change requests.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, ABAP developers, and technical teams to provide custom developments (RICEFW).
• 5–7 years of practical experience as an SAP CO functional consultant.
• At least 1–2 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation or migration projects completed.
• Strong expertise in the configuration of CCA, Internal Orders, PCA, Product Costing, and COPA, as well as Material Ledger and Actual costing.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Material Ledger (required in S/4HANA), and New Asset Accounting.
• Proficient knowledge of CO-FI integration, month-end and period-end closing processes, allocations, assessments, and settlements.
• Familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Waterfall delivery models.
• Demonstrated experience in SAP AMS / Support projects, providing SLA-based support for Incidents, Service Requests, and Change Requests.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) and experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager, Remedy, or JIRA.
• Practical experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, blueprinting, and conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
