SAP Business One Developer – Service Layer Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Integration Development: Develop and maintain data flows between SAP Business One and external systems (e-commerce, CRM, banks) using the Service Layer.

• Business Modeling: Modify SAP objects (UOs, UDTs, UDFs) to ensure compliance with business rules through the API.

• Performance Optimization: Set up and monitor calls to avert server bottlenecks, employing batching and effective filtering strategies.

• Documentation: Create documentation for endpoints and integration procedures to aid future maintenance efforts.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support deployment and production operations.

• Recognize opportunities for refactoring and ongoing enhancement.

• Investigate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs and scalable system architecture.

• Proficiency with SAP Service Layer: Hands-on experience with the OData-based API and HTTP protocols (REST).

• Programming Languages: Strong experience with C# (.NET).

• Databases: Familiarity with SAP HANA (analytical views and calculations).

• Testing Tools: Experience with Postman or Insomnia for testing endpoints.

• Data Formats: Expertise in managing JSON and XML files.

• Preferred: Prior experience with SAP Business One integrations.

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
