SAP BRIM SOM Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Engage in the implementation, support, testing, and enhancement activities of SAP Subscription Order Management.

• Acquire knowledge about subscription orders, contracts, product configurations, pricing, renewals, cancellations, and contract modifications.

• Assist senior consultants in the collection and documentation of requirements related to subscription orders and contract management.

• Aid in the analysis of new subscriptions, upgrades, downgrades, renewals, extensions, suspensions, resumptions, and cancellations.

• Help with the configuration and validation of transaction types, item categories, business roles, partner determination, status profiles, and date rules.

• Support the validation of products, customers, contracts, pricing, and master data.

• Assist in analyzing the flow of subscription orders and contracts into charging, billing, invoicing, fulfillment, and financial systems.

• Facilitate integrations between SAP Subscription Order Management, SAP Convergent Charging, SAP Convergent Invoicing, SAP FI-CA, and SAP S/4HANA.

• Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, process design discussions, and solution demonstrations.

• Provide support for unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

• Prepare business scenarios, test cases, expected outcomes, test evidence, defect reports, and user documentation.

• Assist in investigating order processing errors, contract discrepancies, pricing problems, failed integrations, and incorrect status transitions.

• Collaborate with business analysts, charging consultants, billing consultants, FI-CA consultants, developers, and integration specialists.

• Create process flows, functional specifications, configuration records, training materials, and operational support documentation.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies and manage assigned user stories, activities, and defects using Jira or similar tools.

• Complete assigned learning paths, capability assessments, and certification objectives related to SAP Subscription Order Management.

• Contribute to internal subscription management templates, demonstrations, knowledge articles, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–1 year of professional experience.

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of sales, customer service, subscriptions, contracts, products, pricing, or Order-to-Cash processes.

• Academic, internship, or practical experience with SAP, CRM applications, ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, or subscription management systems will be considered an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of sales orders, customer master data, products, pricing, contracts, renewals, cancellations, or fulfillment is beneficial.

• Interest in subscription-based business models and customer lifecycle management.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to gather business requirements and clearly document business processes.

• Basic understanding of integration concepts, APIs, data flows, or system interfaces will be considered an advantage.

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, SAP BRIM, SAP Sales Cloud, or SAP Learning Hub is beneficial.

• Basic awareness of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Strong customer orientation.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Business proficiency in English.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to organize assigned deliverables, learning activities, priorities, and deadlines under appropriate guidance.

• Willingness to undergo structured SAP Subscription Order Management training and certification.
