SAP BRIM CC Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Engage in the implementation, support, enhancement, and testing activities of SAP Convergent Charging.

• Acquire knowledge on how SAP Convergent Charging facilitates real-time and batch-based rating and charging processes.

• Aid in documenting requirements for charging, pricing rules, allowances, counters, charge plans, and usage-based scenarios.

• Assist in the creation and upkeep of charge plans, pricing macros, mapping tables, and range tables.

• Collaborate with senior consultants to translate pricing requirements into configurations within SAP Convergent Charging.

• Support the establishment and validation of subscriber accounts, provider contracts, charging contracts, and chargeable items.

• Help configure pricing, discounts, bundles, recurring charges, one-time charges, and usage-based charges.

• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

• Prepare test cases, expected outcomes, test evidence, reconciliation reports, and defect documentation.

• Assist in investigating rejected chargeable items, incorrect charging results, contract errors, and pricing discrepancies.

• Facilitate integration efforts between SAP Convergent Charging, SAP Convergent Mediation, SAP Convergent Invoicing, and external systems.

• Take part in requirement-gathering sessions, design workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and project demonstrations.

• Maintain project documentation, configuration records, process flows, and operational support guides.

• Complete designated SAP Convergent Charging learning paths, capability assessments, and certification goals.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and manage assigned tasks and defects within Jira or similar platforms.

• Communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers to the appropriate project lead.

• Contribute to the development of reusable charging templates, internal demonstrations, knowledge articles, and capability development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–1 year of professional experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Basic knowledge of software applications, databases, algorithms, data structures, or object-oriented programming.

• Experience through academics, internships, or projects with Java, SQL, XML, APIs, Linux, or enterprise applications is a plus.

• Fundamental understanding of pricing, charging, subscriptions, prepaid, postpaid, or usage-based business models is advantageous.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to comprehend business rules and convert them into structured system logic.

• Enthusiasm for developing proficiency in SAP Convergent Charging and the broader SAP BRIM landscape.

• Basic awareness of telecommunications, utilities, digital services, mobility, financial services, or other high-volume transactional sectors is beneficial.

• Familiarity with SAP technologies, SAP Learning Hub, openSAP, or SAP certification programs is advantageous but not essential.

• Basic understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus.

• Business-level proficiency in English.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage assigned tasks, learning goals, priorities, and deadlines under suitable supervision.
