SAP BO Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Conduct the upgrade of a SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.3 sandbox environment to a higher Support Pack, encompassing all required pre-checks, execution, and post-upgrade validation.

• Maintain service continuity through effective testing, risk management, and controlled deployment.

• Generate comprehensive installation, configuration, and upgrade documentation.

• Develop end-user training materials that address both standard and newly introduced functionalities.

• Configure and validate Single Sign-On (SSO) and Azure Active Directory integrations.

• Configure and validate Microsoft OneDrive integration with SAP BusinessObjects.

• Collaborate on and validate features such as the Workflow Assistant.

• Conduct a seamless handover to internal SAP BO Administrators, ensuring their independence post-project completion.

• Engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in executing SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x platform upgrades within enterprise settings.

• Extensive, in-depth understanding of SAP BusinessObjects architecture.

• Practical experience in configuring and validating SSO and Azure Active Directory integration.

• Familiarity with configuring and validating Microsoft OneDrive integration with SAP BusinessObjects.

• Experience with the Workflow Assistant.

• Proven ability to create high-quality technical documentation, including upgrade plans, test scripts, training materials, and handover guides.

• Capacity to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and deliver within specified timelines.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.
