This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Plan and implement upgrades for SAP systems (NetWeaver, EHP, SPS, Kernel) across development, quality, and production environments;
• Lead migrations from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including pre-checks, simplification, and code modifications;
• Utilize tools such as SUM, Maintenance Planner, DMO, and SPAM/SAINT;
• Carry out system and client copies;
• Execute operating system and database (OS/DB) migrations, Unicode conversions, and HANA upgrades;
• Conduct conversion tests (mock and dry runs) and strategize cutover to production;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all parties are prepared for upgrades and conversions;
• Identify and address technical challenges during and after processes;
• Document procedures, enhancements, and lessons learned;
• Monitor the SAP roadmap and implement best practices for upgrades and conversions;
• Perform additional routine activities within the area.
• Extensive experience with SAP BASIS;
• Profound understanding of SAP architecture;
• Practical experience with SAP upgrades;
• Conversions from ECC to S/4HANA;
• Experience in system migrations and copies;
• Proficient in tools such as SUM (Software Update Manager);
• Familiarity with Maintenance Planner;
• Knowledge of DMO (Database Migration Option);
• Experience with SPAM/SAINT;
• Background in OS/DB migration;
• Expertise in Unicode conversions;
• Experience with SAP HANA database;
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex environments;
• Experience with technical documentation;
• A Bachelor's degree is required;
• Preferred: Experience with ECS will be an added advantage;
• Language requirement: Fluent written and spoken English (an interview will be conducted in English).
