SAP Basis Consultant, S/4 Conversions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analysis, design, and execution of SAP landscapes tailored for our clients.

• Planning and conducting technical S/4 conversions aimed at on-premise and private cloud environments (SAP RISE).

• Assisting in the onboarding and deployment of SAP RISE system landscapes, along with support during go-live and transition to operations.

• Carrying out system installations, upgrades, and patches in line with client specifications.

• Ensuring system stability, optimizing performance, and conducting root-cause analysis.

• Providing guidance on the planning and implementation of system architectures and the integration of SAP modules.

• Ensuring adherence to security standards and policies.

• Assisting clients with system testing and troubleshooting technical issues.

• Documenting activities undertaken and creating training materials.

• Supporting our sales teams in presales efforts and proposal development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

• Several years of professional experience as an SAP Basis Consultant or in a comparable role, preferably in consulting.

• Strong knowledge of SAP system administration and configuration, including familiarity with SAP NetWeaver; experience with SAP cloud solutions (RISE, BTP), SAP HANA, and specifically S/4 transformations is desirable.

• Experience in system installations, upgrades, and patching.

• Knowledge of SAP architectures, technologies, and best practices.

• Good understanding of SAP security standards and hands-on experience implementing relevant controls.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A team player with outstanding communication skills.

• Ideally, certifications in SAP OS/DB migration, S/4 Upgrade and Conversion, or other SAP technologies.
