This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Assume both technical and functional accountability for the execution of archiving projects.

• Design and implement archiving strategies for SAP systems.

• Carry out customization related to data archiving.

• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards (e.g., retention periods, GDPR, residency obligations, audit provisions).

• Implement and manage SAP ArchiveLink and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).

• Integrate external archival and document management systems (DMS).

• Define and set up custom archiving objects tailored for GQS-specific products.

• Execute optical/document archiving for both inbound and outbound documents (including classic NAST-based output and Output Management).

• Record system configurations and establish automated, recurring archiving procedures.

• Several years of experience in SAP data archiving and SAP ILM projects.

• Proficient in managing ArchiveLink and integrating with external archiving systems.

• Experience in defining custom archiving objects and modifying standard ones.

• Familiarity with pertinent legal regulations (GDPR, GoBD, HGB, AO).

• Basic ABAP skills for analyzing and modifying archiving processes.

• Understanding of interfaces to DMS and ECM systems.

• Technical proficiency in storage and database management.
