This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the analysis and resolution of intricate security challenges related to SAP applications, ensuring prompt and compliant solutions that uphold system integrity and user efficiency.
• Manage and implement SAP security deliverables for projects and system enhancements, ensuring role design, testing, and implementation activities align with business needs, compliance standards, and project deadlines.
• Collaborate with business process owners, functional teams, and technical leads to collect, analyze, and document security requirements for new functionalities and system modifications.
• Offer expert advice on secure design principles, risk management, and adherence to enterprise security architecture.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge in SAP authorization concepts, including role and profile creation, segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, and risk management.
• Spearhead the design and upkeep of complex roles that support cross-functional and global business processes.
• Carry out and oversee SOX and internal audit compliance activities, such as user access reviews, monitoring sensitive access, and addressing findings to ensure ongoing control effectiveness.
• Assist in the formation and implementation of SAP security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate information security goals and regulatory mandates.
• Mentor junior security analysts and specialists, providing technical direction, reviewing deliverables for quality and consistency, and promoting continuous improvement within the SAP Security team.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred.
• An equivalent of 8 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT, with exposure to business process design, systems analysis, and application support.
• At least 4 years of experience focusing on SAP Security and user access management across various modules and environments (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, BW).
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, their interdependencies, and role-based access needs.
• Experience in a manufacturing or global enterprise environment with ERP systems, implementing security best practices to balance compliance, usability, and operational efficiency.
