This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Analyze and address user access and authorization challenges in SAP and related applications, ensuring prompt resolution in line with established protocols and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Develop, adjust, and oversee SAP roles and profiles to accommodate changes in business processes, while complying with security standards and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements.

• Assist with SAP security tasks within projects and system upgrades, which includes role modifications, testing assistance, and validation of access controls.

• Implement and oversee SOX and internal audit compliance measures, including user access evaluations, sensitive access surveillance, and rectifying findings to guarantee ongoing control effectiveness.

• Aid in the monitoring and upkeep of security audit logs and system controls to ensure ongoing adherence to enterprise policies and regulatory obligations.

• Partner with business process owners and functional teams to collect access requirements and convert them into compliant security solutions.

• Investigate and assess SAP security updates, enhancements, and support notes, escalating complex design or architectural concerns to the SAP Security Analyst II or Manager as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred; however, 8 years of relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 2 years concentrated on SAP Security, application security, and user access management.

• Familiarity with SAP environments such as ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and BW.

• A solid understanding of SAP authorization concepts, role-based access, and fundamental Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles.

• Foundational knowledge of core end-to-end business processes and the impact of system access on compliance and operational efficiency.

• Experience in a manufacturing or global enterprise setting utilizing ERP systems is preferred.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

• Capability to effectively collaborate within a team and cultivate productive working relationships.

• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Ability to engage easily with colleagues, managers, and business partners.

• Conducts themselves in a professional manner, capable of fostering positive working relationships.

• Robust analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to swiftly adapt to evolving security demands and changing project priorities.

• Possesses sound judgment and critical thinking skills to evaluate last-minute adjustments, ensuring security controls remain compliant while facilitating project advancement.
