SAP ABAP/S4HANA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP applications utilizing Core ABAP and S/4HANA development methodologies.

• Create and improve RAP-based applications, including Business Objects, Behavior Definitions, Service Definitions, and OData services.

• Generate optimized CDS Views, CDS View Entities, annotations, and associations for both reporting and transactional applications.

• Construct and enhance reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and conversions using ABAP.

• Develop APIs and integrations employing OData, REST, SOAP, and various SAP integration technologies.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Execute performance tuning and code optimization by adhering to SAP best practices and HANA-optimized techniques.

• Engage in technical design discussions, code reviews, and quality assurance tasks.

• Address production issues, troubleshoot defects, and deliver timely solutions.

• Draft technical specifications and maintain development documentation.

• Strong expertise in Core ABAP development.

• Experience with Reports (Classical, ALV).

• Proficient in Dialog Programming.

• Knowledge of Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework).

• Familiarity with Smart Forms / Adobe Forms.

• Experience with BAPIs, RFCs, Function Modules.

• Understanding of ALE/IDocs.

• Proficient in Object-Oriented ABAP.

• Hands-on experience with:

• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

• Core Data Services (CDS Views, View Entities, Annotations).

• OData Services.

• Eclipse ADT.

• HANA-optimized development.

• Experience with:

• SAP S/4HANA development.

• RESTful APIs.

• SQL performance optimization.

• Debugging and performance tuning.

• Experience in at least one of the following areas:

• SAP Transportation Management (TM).

• Freight Orders.

• Freight Units.

• Transportation Planning.

• BOPF enhancements (where applicable).

• SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

• Inbound/Outbound Processes.

• Warehouse Tasks.

• Warehouse Orders.

• RF Developments.

• PPF Enhancements.
