SAP ABAP, PI/PO Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance custom programs utilizing ABAP (Reports, ALV, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms)

• Enhance and develop BDC, BAPI, RFC, BADI, User-Exits, and the Enhancement Framework

• Construct and maintain SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts

• Engage with Data Dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Indexes, Domains, Data Elements)

• Optimize performance through SQL tuning, runtime analysis, and debugging methods

• Design and execute comprehensive integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO

• Build and configure integration flows (iFlows), message mappings, interface mappings, and operation mappings

• Oversee and resolve issues in interfaces through Message Monitoring and Component Monitoring

• Develop interfaces based on IDoc, RFC, and Proxy methods

• Analyze and address incidents, defects, and performance challenges

• Prepare technical documentation and unit test cases

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP, with practical experience in PI/PO integration projects

• Strong knowledge in SAP ABAP (RICEF objects) and SAP PI/PO versions 7.4/7.5

• Good understanding of Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, JSON, and SAP NetWeaver architecture

• Experience with IDoc, ALE, Proxy, RFC interfaces, and SAP HANA (preferably CDS views and AMDP basics)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering

• SAP certifications in ABAP and PI/PO are a plus
