This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions within the SAP HCM (HR) module, primarily concentrating on Payroll and international payroll processes.
• Analyze and resolve reported issues, offering technical support and advice on optimal solution implementation.
• Develop ABAP using both object-oriented and structured programming techniques, ensuring the production of clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Build and enhance reports, classes, methods, function modules, enhancements, BAdIs, and user exits related to payroll.
• Work with internal tables, ALV reports, intricate data structures, and large data volumes.
• Deliver stable and maintainable developments in accordance with SAP best practices and Strada’s internal standards.
• Conduct technical testing using provided or self-created test data to verify that developments meet established requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for implemented solutions and resolved issues.
• Manage daily tasks and assigned tickets, ensuring that priorities and deadlines are adhered to.
• Provide regular updates on status and progress to the Application Maintenance Outsourcing (AMO) team lead.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with both internal and external teams.
• Clearly articulate issue status, resolution, and root cause once incidents are closed.
• Over 6 years of demonstrated experience as a SAP ABAP Developer, with a strong emphasis on SAP HR / HCM.
• Solid expertise in ABAP HCM and Payroll Control Center (PCC).
• Familiarity with Infotypes, Adobe Forms, BAdIs, and user exits.
• Practical experience with ABAP for at least 3 European countries or the United States.
• Experience in LATAM projects is highly valued.
• Background in integrations such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and interfaces with external systems.
• Proven experience in global, complex environments with high data volumes.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Experience with S/4HANA HR or transformation projects is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in distributed environments.
