This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze the complete communication workflow spanning Salesforce, S-Docs, AWS, and VA Notify.
• Review S-Docs HTML/PDF template creation, data dependencies, automation triggers, and governance controls.
• Investigate AWS Lambda processing capabilities, queueing methods, dead-letter queues, and monitoring features.
• Confirm scalability, security measures, auditability, observability, and alignment with enterprise compliance.
• Document insights, architectural choices, risks, and challenges.
• Construct and enhance Salesforce data models, integration elements, error-handling mechanisms, and orchestration.
• Deploy AWS API Gateway, Lambda, SQS/DLQ, logging and monitoring pipelines, and delivery-result integrations with Salesforce.
• Automate configuration management, secrets management, and access controls in line with federal security standards and least-privilege practices.
• Incorporate SAST/DAST/SCA security scanning into CI/CD workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in DevOps/DevSecOps or software integration engineering, preferably in support of federal government or VA initiatives.
• Practical Salesforce development experience with Apex, Flow/Process Builder, Lightning Web Components, and REST/SOAP or Bulk API integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Salesforce document-generation/templating tools like S-Docs or Conga, including HTML/PDF template creation, data dependencies, and automation triggers.
• Experience in building serverless AWS integrations utilizing API Gateway, Lambda, SQS/DLQ patterns, and CloudWatch for monitoring and alerts.
• Proficiency in designing or supporting high-volume, fault-tolerant integration pipelines, with emphasis on throughput, API limits, and latency.
• Hands-on experience incorporating SAST, DAST, and SCA into build and release processes.
• Understanding of NIST SP 800-53, RMF, FISMA, and federal Assessment & Authorization / ATO protocols.
• Experience with automated testing, including high-volume/load testing of 50,000+ transactions and regression test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create solution documentation for both technical and government audiences.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Public Trust clearance / favorable suitability determination.
