Salesforce Release Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete Salesforce release lifecycle spanning Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gearset.

• Conduct metadata comparisons, validations, and deployments through Gearset.

• Diagnose deployment issues and address metadata dependencies, test failures, and conflicts.

• Integrate and oversee source control with GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and merges.

• Work collaboratively with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to synchronize releases.

• Uphold best practices for deployment, governance, and compliance with audits.

• Supervise deployments, backups, and rollback strategies using Gearset.

• Propel enhancements in release automation, quality, and speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps or Release Engineering.

• Practical experience with Gearset is essential (please apply only if you meet this criterion).

• Significant experience with GitHub and concepts of version control.

• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce metadata, deployments, and environment management.

• Proven experience in managing deployment failures, validations, and rollback strategies.

• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and implementation of pipelines.

• Experience working in multi-developer Agile environments.

• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
