• Design, develop, and sustain the core backend systems that drive the Reya DeX and Network.

• Establish the overarching framework of the backend systems.

• Ensure that the architectural design promotes reliability and high availability.

• Implement and uphold robust security protocols.

• Formulate the strategy for data storage solutions.

• Develop and execute an all-encompassing testing strategy.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Thoroughly document the architectural framework.

• Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Over 8 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, particularly within the financial services sector.

• More than 6 years of experience with Rust and/or C++ in the development of highly scalable web services.

• Expertise in asynchronous programming and advanced concurrency patterns.

• At least 6 years of experience in designing and managing relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with messaging systems and low latency persistence technologies like Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, or similar.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong expertise in securing and fortifying backend systems and APIs.

• Comprehensive knowledge of software testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
