RN/LPN, Nurse Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct charge audits and evaluate potential clients.

• Ensure prompt resolution of incorrect and/or absent charges.

• Perform regular audits to identify missing revenue.

• Provide education to stakeholders regarding documentation standards and charge capture methodologies.

• Review Injection & Infusion work queues within the Epic system.

• Address missing and erroneous charges flagged by Opera Solutions software.

• Carry out site visits to clients for assessments and training purposes.

• Stay informed about government regulations and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active RN or LPN Licensure.

• CCDI (Certified Clinical Documentation Improvement) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) or RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or COC (Certified Outpatient Coder) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor).

• Proficient knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/Revenue codes.

• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Self-motivated individual capable of completing tasks within established time constraints and deadlines.

• Background in physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations.
