Revit Content Creator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Revise current Revit families to meet updated standards and optimal Revit practices.

• Utilize AutoCAD linework, plant images, or hand-drawn graphics as references to develop standardized Revit families from an existing family template.

• Keep files organized within a shared office folder structure.

• Verify the accuracy, relevance, and functionality of the created Revit tree and shrub families within the plugin.

• With relevant experience, there is potential for advancement into a role focused on guiding and expanding the Revit content library, as well as developing future Revit tools for landscape architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in Revit content creation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, including the ability to refine existing drawings to enhance content quality.

• Conduct research to identify new content that can be transformed into Construction Details for incorporation into drawings.

• Organize and develop new CAD block content for Landscape Design purposes.

• Familiarity with SketchUp, including the ability to open and navigate 3D files and prepare them for use in other software.

• Basic modeling skills to assist in auditing and modifying existing models to ensure they align with their corresponding CAD files.

• Proficient in Revit to operate within the software and convert existing 3D models into families that comply with current industry standards.

• Collaborate with the team to identify content that still requires creation.

• Engage in key discussions regarding workflows and standards that should be integrated into the content guidelines.

• Knowledge of Rhino, including the ability to open basic 3D files and convert content into native Rhino formats.

• Ability to leverage existing knowledge and acquire further insights into Landscape Architecture, as well as architectural and interior design elements, to facilitate conversations and collaborations with team members when generating new content for others to utilize.
