This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Enter, validate, and assess pricing and fee structures to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate and assist with monthly manual billing procedures, including data uploads.
• Evaluate pricing strategies and propose solutions to enhance profitability and support revenue growth.
• Develop, maintain, and conduct quality assurance on billing configurations and pricing models.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and reporting variances.
• Evaluate the financial implications of billing changes, corrections, and new initiatives.
• Respond promptly to escalations from Operations, Product, and Sales teams.
• Ensure adherence to SOX controls and internal policies.
• Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Support quarterly card brand enhancements and associated pricing updates.
• Identify financial risks and communicate potential impacts effectively.
• Take ownership of monthly billing activities, including issue identification, impact analysis, and process updates.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the Merchant Pricing & Analysis team as required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in billing, pricing, finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry, validation, and financial calculations.
• Experience in data validation and identifying discrepancies within financial or billing data.
• Comfortable calculating and analyzing the financial impacts of changes, issues, and updates.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong sense of accountability for completing high-impact manual billing tasks accurately and punctually.
• Proven capability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish, including validation and issue resolution.
• Eager to learn, ask questions, and continuously enhance processes and understanding of the business.
• Inquisitive mindset with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and suggest solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and issues.
