This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Evaluate home sleep test outcomes to detect patterns and irregularities.
• Clearly and effectively communicate findings to clients.
• Address inquiries and concerns from customers.
• Recommend equipment based on sleep test results and physician suggestions.
• Promote sales of CPAP, BiPAP, and associated therapy equipment.
• Follow up with patients promptly to ensure their satisfaction, address any issues, and reinforce their commitment to therapy.
• Conduct virtual demonstrations and provide education on respiratory therapy equipment.
• Educate consumers on the proper use of equipment and respond to any questions regarding services or equipment.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current DME products and services offered by the organization.
• Offer technical support to PAP patients, referrals, and team members.
• Foster good relationships with clients and collaborate with referring physicians regarding patient treatment.
• Identify programs or initiatives that could potentially enhance company revenues, reduce costs, and/or improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize delivery costs and ensure efficient service to customers.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2–3 years of DME experience is required.
• Sleep credential (RRT-SDS or RPSGT) is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and recommend appropriate CPAP masks, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment.
• Patient-focused, prioritizing the needs of the patient and working backwards.
• Capable of setting up and operating devices such as CPAP and BiPAP machines.
• Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME), particularly concerning Sleep Apnea and CPAP Products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Thrive in a dynamic and collaborative cross-functional environment; capable of multitasking and adapting as priorities shift.
