Residential Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integration of builder homes into the Higharc Editor, tracking task progress and identifying gaps until delivery.

• Act as the main technical liaison for builder product leads, converting existing plans and documentation into settings compatible with Higharc.

• Represent Higharc during technical pre-sales discussions and provide continuous technical support to platform users.

• Conduct QA/QC on the Editor product, meticulously logging bugs and highlighting issues with clarity and context.

• Offer subject matter expertise as a primary user, delivering structured feedback that guides product development.

• Support architecture and engineering teams in outlining requirements based on practical field experience and builder workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in residential drafting or architectural design, preferably with a production home builder.

• Proficient in CAD/BIM software, with practical experience in creating construction documents.

• Understanding and experience with U.S. building practices, methods, and building codes.

• Proven experience managing projects to completion.

• Subject matter expert who can quickly establish credibility in the field.

• Ability to potentially manage a team of internal or external resources for the implementation of homes into Higharc.

• Must reside in North or South America and be available to work across U.S.-based time zones.
