Research Fellowship 2026-27

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist mid-career researchers in enhancing the understanding of Canada’s involvement in the Indo-Pacific region.

• Develop research proposals focusing on Economic Security and Trade, Technology and Innovation, Indo-Pacific Geopolitics, Defence Industry, as well as Arctic and Northeast Asia Security.

• Engage in private briefings and deliver presentations at symposiums.

⛳️ Requirements

• Open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents, as well as U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

• 7–15 years of experience post-PhD (or equivalent policy experience).

• Background in political science, economics, public policy, law, business, security studies, or related disciplines.

• Willingness to engage in public events, media appearances, and collaborative cohort activities.
