Research and Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain AI agents to streamline internal processes and enhance team productivity (including code review, test generation, documentation, monitoring, and more)

• Design and manage comprehensive AI pipelines: data preparation, LLM integration, orchestration, error management, and observability

• Write skills, tools, and MCP integrations for agentic systems (function calling, tool utilization, multi-agent coordination)

• Assess and choose AI frameworks, models, and APIs (LangGraph, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

• Foster internal knowledge: document methodologies and share insights with the team

• Maintain a registry of agents, skills, and their infrastructure: versioning, changelog, ownership, and dependencies — ensuring complete traceability and auditability

• Work collaboratively with Security to integrate their requirements into agent design and pipelines (access controls, data handling, audit logs, vendor approvals)

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development (any programming language)

• Expertise in Go or Python — essential for constructing AI pipelines, MCP integrations, and agentic systems

• Demonstrated success in leading technical projects from conception to deployment

• Knowledge of LLM functionality: prompt engineering, context management, structured output

• Familiarity with LLM APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models

• Experience in building and deploying AI agents in a production environment: tool utilization, memory, multi-step workflows, observability

• Strong analytical skills: defining success metrics, assessing impact, and iterating based on data

• Regularly practices AI-assisted development

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work autonomously

• Proficient in both spoken and written English
