Requirements Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the identification of both functional and non-functional requirements that the system being developed must fulfill.

• Advise, supervise, and guide developers on the utilization of requirements process tools.

• Establish a unified terminology and categorize the essential processes of the systems.

• Engage in the development of prototypes.

• Determine report specifications and ensure audit trail documentation.

• Outline the user interface.

• Create additional specifications and a requirements management strategy.

• Document information classification protocols.

• Compile supplementary specifications, a glossary, a list of requirements, and an access profile matrix for systems.

• Define functional requirements/use cases and organize the use case model.

• Lead requirements approval meetings.

• Gather, document, and prioritize initial requirements.

• Uphold business rules.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or any undergraduate degree complemented by a postgraduate certification (specialization, master’s, or doctorate) in Information Technology of a minimum of 360 hours.

• DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS: CPRE - Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering; IBM Certified Specialist for Rational Requirements Management with Use Cases.

• Preferred experience: 3 years in the elicitation, modeling, and documentation of software system requirements.

• Proficient in requirements elicitation techniques (interviews, workshops, observation); process and business rules modeling (BPMN, UML); drafting Use Cases and User Stories; familiar with supporting tools: IBM DOORS, Rational Requirements Composer (RRC), Jira, Confluence; requirements versioning and change control; basic understanding of information classification, audit trails, and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law); software quality standards (IEEE 830, ISO/IEC 29148).
