Regulatory Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead OCCU's efforts in regulatory compliance.

• Oversee the yearly review of the privacy policy.

• Ensure adherence to relevant state and international privacy regulations.

• Manage fair lending practices and HMDA reporting.

• Govern compliance policies, issues, and controls.

• Provide guidance on compliance risks for new products, services, technologies, and third-party relationships.

• Manage regulatory compliance matters from identification through remediation and closure.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of an effective Compliance Management System.

• Act as a primary contact for regulatory examinations and audits.

• Support reporting to the Compliance Committee (including to the Supervisory Committee and/or Board).

• Collaborate with management to create, implement, and periodically revise compliance policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of direct experience in banking regulatory compliance within a management or leadership capacity.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting deposit, lending, commercial, and small business products.

• Proven success in managing compliance risk within a formal Compliance Management System (CMS).

• Ability to interpret guidance from regulatory bodies (CFPB, OCC, FDIC, NCUA, FRB, and FinCEN).

• Experience responding to regulatory inquiries.

• Excellent policy formulation and report-writing abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across various functions.

• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience leading to measurable business outcomes) is required.

• CRCM certification is preferred, with ongoing training and certification maintenance required.
