This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• The Delegated Ordering Team Member is tasked with a variety of clinical administrative responsibilities, performing these duties efficiently and effectively while collaborating and communicating with the multi-disciplinary team at Medefer.
• This role requires specialization and leadership in administrative and supportive functions related to patient care.
• Ensuring Quality Assurance by verifying adherence to the correct pathways and processes, which includes completing the investigation forms mandated by consultants, along with pre-requisites and safety questions.
• Reviewing the response letters from consultants for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate outcome selection.
• Ensuring that necessary investigations are requested by Medefer’s consultants and clinicians, and managing those requests through Medefer’s platform or third-party systems.
• Assessing partial results received from providers to determine whether they should be promptly escalated to consultants or if they can wait for the complete set of patient results for a comprehensive review.
• Managing diagnostic requests.
• Conducting Significant Event investigations and ensuring that any errors are duly recorded and addressed.
• Providing ongoing feedback regarding Medefer’s platform and processes to facilitate technical fixes and enhancements.
• Upholding strict confidentiality while adhering to local and national Health and Safety regulations, as well as Medefer’s Policies and Procedures.
• A medical degree with training equivalent to Foundation Year 2 in the UK.
• Experience in administrative or clerical roles across various healthcare environments, such as GP surgeries, hospitals, and pharmacies.
• Prior administrative experience that involves direct patient interaction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in conflict resolution and the capability to collaborate confidently with others.
