Real World Biostatistician – RWE CMH Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-world evidence (RWE) studies utilizing EMR and claims data.

• Develop data specifications, statistical analysis plans (SAP), and protocols aligned with key research objectives.

• Create and apply robust statistical methodologies.

• Conduct data analysis using healthcare coding systems such as ICD and NDC.

• Collaborate across various functions with stakeholders from HEOR, Market Access, Regulatory, and Clinical Development.

• Convert complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights.

• Foster methodological innovation within RWE.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in RWD/RWE analytics (in the industry or an equivalent setting).

• Extensive experience with EMR and/or claims data.

• Proficiency in healthcare coding systems such as ICD and NDC.

• Programming skills in at least one of the following: SAS, R, or Python.

• Familiarity with SQL logic and OMOP data structures.

• Strong understanding of causal inference methods.

• Knowledge of observational study design.

• Insight into sample size and power calculations.
