Ready Force Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conduct visual assessments of water or electric meters to check for leaks or damages.

• Recognize hazards at meter locations and report them appropriately.

• Effectively replace water or electric meters of various sizes and brands.

• Correctly replace meter registers for AMI/AMR upgrades.

• Read electric, gas, or water meters accurately.

• Input data gathered in the field into a handheld device.

• Locate underground utilities and mark them accordingly.

• Examine gas meters and related piping for proper coatings and signs of atmospheric corrosion.

• Offer general information regarding meter services to customers when necessary.

• Utilize telephones, tablets, and/or computers for communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in any of the following areas: electric, gas, or water meter maintenance, installation, or reading.

• Over 1 year of experience in a related field (electric, gas, water meter maintenance/installation/reading, or gas line detection/surveying).

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

• Successful completion of OQ training is mandatory after hiring.
