This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct regularly scheduled in-plant audits as directed by the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Execute on-site scheduled audits as instructed by the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Carry out product sampling as requested by the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Continuously oversee the client’s implementation of approved quality systems.
• Regularly assess and communicate the status of each client’s quality system to the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Submit all inspection reports to the Regional Inspection Manager for review by the end of each month.
• Build strong relationships with States and HUD to ensure we are recognized as a leader and partner.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant ICC NTA procedures during the execution of inspection tasks.
• Continuously identify, suggest, and pursue opportunities for process enhancements within the Department and ICC NTA.
• Foster effective communication across the organization.
• Identify opportunities and propose actions to improve communication among all employees.
• Consistently contribute insights and ideas for resolving recurring issues as they arise in the field by maintaining a steady line of communication with Inspection Managers.
• Carry out other duties, responsibilities, and special assignments as assigned by the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Must successfully complete ICC Residential examinations in Building, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing within 12 months of employment.
• Must finish CEU training as required to maintain licenses and certifications.
• Ability to travel to client facilities or worksites via airplane or by driving a vehicle.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in building construction, building code enforcement, or conducting quality assurance audits.
• A valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
• Some overnight travel may be necessary.
