This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create, implement, and uphold test cases within designated functional areas.
• Detect and document bugs with precise and comprehensive descriptions.
• Relay test outcomes and updates to stakeholders effectively.
• Conduct end-to-end solutions and quarterly regression tests.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure swift resolutions and adherence to project timelines.
• Operate independently and as part of a diverse QA team throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Comply with quality standards and uphold best practices.
• Engage in agile methodologies, including stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester.
• Over 5 years of experience in the software development or testing industry.
• Proficiency in manual testing within a SaaS environment for both web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress and Appium.
• Understanding of SQA methodologies and tools.
• Strong foundation in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, DataDog, SQL databases, Postman, LambdaTest, and Jira Zephyr.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, tech leads, and engineers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, including the capacity to identify and resolve ambiguous issues and assess enhancement impacts on existing functionalities.
• Capability to work remotely from the country of hire.
• Availability to work standard business hours in alignment with Eastern Time.
