This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

• Design and execute multi-file coding projects encompassing bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and testing.

• Create clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Evaluate peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential points of failure.

• Ensure consistency among specifications, code, and anticipated results.

• Advanced proficiency in written English at a professional level.

• 3–7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Strong skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience in conducting code reviews, refactoring, and managing production migrations.
