Proposals and Budgeting Systems Manager

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and upkeep of financial and related tools utilized by the Business Operations Department.

• Collaborate with all departments within Precision for Medicine (and associated companies as necessary) that either have budget allocations or contribute to the understanding of the services offered by Precision.

• Engage in discussions with internal staff to analyze and develop departmental algorithms that accurately reflect budgetary requirements.

• Complete assigned responsibilities with efficiency and precision.

• Maintain trackers to ensure they reflect the current status of assigned tasks.

• Contribute to the implementation of rates applicable to resources across all departments.

• Work alongside our financial department and external consultants to ensure that the Business Operations tools and/or systems are equipped with the necessary data for all reporting and functional demands.

• Aid in training Business Operations personnel on the use of the tools and/or systems.

• Assist in training operations staff on how to read and interpret the tools and/or systems.

• Support the management of the tool(s) and/or system(s) to ensure compatibility with Precision ERP and Salesforce, working directly with these vendors to guarantee that their tools and/or systems align with ours to provide the necessary reporting functions.

• Assist Business Operations with unique client requests that may require adjustments to systems.

• May take part in departmental initiatives.

• And perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or its international equivalent) plus 5 years of relevant experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in the development of budgeting tools and systems.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and pivot tables.

• Practical experience with Excel VBA for automation, tool enhancement, or workflow improvement.

• Proven experience in developing analytical tools or systems that support clinical research, CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare-related fields.
