This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create innovative and persuasive proactive/unsolicited proposals, pitch documents, presentation handouts, and other tailored sales materials for D2L’s global Revenue team.
• Oversee the production of various sales documents under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
• Conduct writing and editing to guarantee that sales documents are engaging, compelling, concise, and free of errors.
• Uphold established style guidelines to ensure a uniform appearance and feel of all outgoing documents.
• Assist in the growth and improvement of the custom request program.
• Recognize opportunities for efficiencies, such as creating reusable self-service templates.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across departments to produce sales documents while maintaining a solid understanding of D2L's products and services.
• Coordinate document reviews.
• Provide input on content library articles and contribute new articles.
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant business units.
• Review, edit, and guide the development of cover letters, executive summaries, and other proposal elements.
• Establish and enhance best practices for the proposal team.
• Manage and support operational tasks, including creating how-to resources, team templates, and content initiatives.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume writing environment.
• Experience in the high-tech sector is preferred.
• Background in writing persuasive documents is an asset.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to effectively utilize AI-enabled tools and stay updated with emerging best practices for proposal writing, content development, operational efficiency, and producing high-quality deliverables.
• Familiarity with proposal automation software is considered a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business, Technical Writing, English, Communications, or Journalism.
