Property Field Adjuster – Connecticut

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations, compile comprehensive scopes, and report on losses related to personal and commercial property.

• The role demands significant personal interaction with insured individuals, their legal representatives, and customer agents.

• Work independently with minimal supervision while managing and settling a substantial volume of claims within your designated authority.

• Adhere to estimating protocols and comply with field adjuster turnaround timelines.

• In the event of a Catastrophe, you may be deployed to the field for a specified duration to assess losses, enabling timely adjudication during such occurrences.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.

• Perform additional duties as required, ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma is mandatory, while a four-year college degree is preferred.

• A background of 4-7 years in adjusting personal and commercial lines claims is advantageous.

• Experience of 3-5 years as a field adjuster, including writing estimates, is preferred.

• Licensing is required to secure your adjuster license(s) in the specific state(s) where you are tasked with managing claims.

• Licenses must be acquired within the timeframe stipulated by the Company and maintained as necessary throughout your employment.
