Professional Services Delivery Architect, Specialty Domain – IN, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a consultant for clients, collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders to collect and document business requirements.

• Convert business requirements into comprehensive Azure solution blueprints, which include architecture diagrams and design documentation.

• Evaluate current-state environments (both on-premises and cloud) and outline target-state Azure architectures.

• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones in accordance with enterprise and Cloud Adoption Framework best practices.

• Architect intricate Azure networking solutions such as Hub-Spoke topology, VNet peering, ExpressRoute, VPN, Azure Firewall, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Load Balancer, and Application Gateway.

• Design, integrate, and oversee third-party network security appliances like Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls within Azure.

• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies that encompass rehosting, replatforming, and modernization methods.

• Possess hands-on experience with Azure Migrate for discovery, assessment, and migration planning.

• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Bicep and Terraform.

• Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Optimization and Licensing Assessment (OLA) to facilitate cloud transformation decisions.

• Design Azure identity, security, and governance frameworks using Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, and security best practices.

• Lead architectural conversations regarding security, compliance, scalability, performance, high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR), and operational readiness.

• Mentor engineering and delivery teams to ensure that implementations adhere to the approved architecture blueprint.

• Collaborate closely with clients to guarantee successful delivery, adoption, and continuous optimization of Azure solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of overall IT experience.

• More than 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect specializing in cloud and datacenter migration projects.

• Strong practical experience in designing enterprise-scale Azure solutions.

• Familiarity with third-party network security appliances such as Fortinet and Palo Alto in cloud settings.

• Preferred Azure certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.

• TOGAF certification (or an equivalent enterprise architecture framework) is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
