• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree is required, ideally in a field pertinent to the role.
• A minimum of 3 Azure Certifications is required for Azure Specialists.
• AWS Master Status and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional level certification OR AWS DevOps certification is needed for AWS Specialists.
• 3 Microsoft Certifications are required for Hyper-V Specialists, including Azure Fundamentals, Software Defined Storage, and Software Defined Networking.
• VCP-DCV Certification is required for VMware Specialists.
• Relevant technical certifications in Red Hat, MySQL, CCIA, CCEE, CCEA, CCA, MCSE/MCITP, MCSA, VCP-DCV, vRealize Operations, NXS, and/or vSAN badge certifications are preferred.
• A minimum of 12 to 14 years of experience in the relevant field is required.
• Acts as a technical escalation point for the Cloud Support and Engineering teams; addressing customer issues and collaborating with partners across the business as needed.
• Develops and delivers customer solutions that maintain, deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions.
• Engages in and defines future state end-to-end architectures, platforms, products, tools, and solutions to enhance security capabilities.
• Collaborates closely with customers during the pre-implementation phase to design and architect desired solutions that may involve products not currently in the supported product portfolio.
• Researches, plans, and coordinates complex maintenance activities.
• Leads analysis efforts to support and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) exercises aimed at driving process and technology enhancements related to systems support products.
• Reviews vendor support escalations to pinpoint training opportunities.
• Shares knowledge and collaborates with other administrators and engineers through wiki articles and training presentations.
• Contributes to the establishment of technical best practices for administrative tasks.
• Prepares and reviews established policy and process standards.
• Oversees assigned complex projects linked to specific accounts and serves as an informal project lead while collaborating with stakeholders.
• Actively engages with partners and vendors to understand their products, implement proof of concepts, and guide the successful onboarding and integration of new Cloud technologies.
• Coaches, mentors, and assists Rackers across the organization.
• Works in collaboration with Account Managers and Business Development Consultants to foster strong customer relationships.
• Shares knowledge and collaborates with the OS support floor.
