Product Engineer, Robotics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee the European Demonstration and Testing facility for Robotic Picking.

• Organize visits to BG Amsterdam.

• Lead guided tours and comprehensive product demonstrations.

• Carry out pre-sale visits to customer sites.

• Assess customer needs against technological capabilities.

• Execute customer testing at the Amsterdam demo site under the guidance of the Go To Market team.

• Conduct visits to current and expanding customer locations.

• Perform analysis and expert investigations to address onsite challenges.

• Collaborate with operational teams.

• Conduct data analysis to enhance value at existing sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Economics, or a related field, or exceptional computer science skills.

• Capability to present insights and foster consensus.

• Proficiency in presentation and public speaking.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse logistics, automation, or industrial robotics.

• Experience collaborating on teams that bring products to market or in a start-up environment.

• Skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.

• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of German and French languages.

• At least 5 years of experience in the industrial product sector.

• Experience in customer-facing sales or sales support roles.

• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations or industrial robotics.

• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Robotic manipulation, Sortation and conveyor systems, Vision systems and sensors, Feasibility studies and proposals, Entrepreneurial or early-stage company experience, Data analysis using Python, Familiarity with ROS, Linux, and Kubernetes, Professional presentation and collateral development.
