Product Designer – L1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with fellow product designers, engineers, and product managers to drive product design, implementing innovative solutions, visuals, and experiences that are both usable and valuable.

• Create and execute product design solutions that address user and business challenges and bring them to market.

• Oversee all visual design phases, from initial concept to final hand-off to engineering.

• Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively convey interaction and design concepts.

• Present design proposals and key milestones to team members and stakeholders.

• Assist in conducting user research, user interviews, and usability tests to enhance the product team's understanding of our users.

• Contribute to our design system, ensuring your work and that of the broader team aligns with the platform and development practices.

• Facilitate data-driven decision-making through experimentation, measurement, and analysis.

• Help monitor user reactions and assess metrics following the launch of new features.

• Aid in maintaining design guidelines, standards, and templates.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging design methodologies.

• Be prepared to assist with any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or internship in product design.

• An online portfolio showcasing your product design work, focusing on your process and solutions rather than just completed projects.

• A bachelor’s degree in product design, computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related field.

• A strong desire to learn about the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry and the challenges faced by users.

• A basic understanding of design principles (typography, composition, hierarchy, proportion, patterning, color theory, etc.), familiarity with UX research methods, usability testing, prototyping, and visual design, as well as user-centered experience design and interaction design.

• Experience in designing for cross-platform environments (iOS, Android, Web interface).

• Proficiency with modern interface design tools (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with team members towards common objectives.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision after three months, demonstrating a strong sense of self-leadership and a creative approach to improving existing projects and workflows.

• A passion for solving stakeholder problems combined with strong user empathy.

• An enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and innovative methodologies.

• Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap is considered an advantage. A keen interest in cryptocurrency, NFTs, web3, and metaverse topics is also beneficial.
