Product Data Analyst – Midcore Games

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor in all aspects of data, establishing optimal practices for data gathering, analysis, and reporting.

• Spearhead the examination of extensive, intricate datasets to gain insights into player behavior and pinpoint growth opportunities in engagement, retention, and monetization.

• Convert data insights into straightforward recommendations that guide game design, feature development, and the overall product strategy.

• Collaborate across functions with game designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that data-driven strategies are integrated throughout the game’s lifecycle.

• Create, develop, and sustain automated dashboards and reports, guaranteeing that the entire team has access to essential metrics and insights.

• Implement A/B testing to assess and enhance game features and mechanics, fostering measurable advancements in key performance indicators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of analytical experience in the gaming, technology, or a data-centric industry, demonstrating a successful history of collaboration with product teams.

• Proficient in SQL and either R or Python, with validated experience handling large and complex datasets.

• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and principles applicable to industry-standard techniques such as A/B testing or forecasting.

• Independent individual with a robust analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to comprehend a business challenge, translate it into an analytics/statistics problem, and resolve it using appropriate methods.

• Highly pragmatic approach with the capability to swiftly identify priorities and distinguish between critical tasks and those of lesser importance.

• Ability to take proactive ownership of the entire data pipeline for your game.
