Product Copywriter – Cybersecurity, Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product and technical teams to enhance product positioning and craft impactful narratives that set ZeroTier apart in a competitive marketplace.

• Create and optimize content across various channels, including high-converting website pages, thought leadership articles, sales enablement materials, and technical playbooks.

• Oversee and direct a range of AI writing agents and LLM-based tools to amplify content production while preserving brand voice and technical precision – you will serve as the human-in-the-loop, editing and managing AI-generated drafts across campaigns, SEO/AEO initiatives, and enablement materials.

• Customize messaging for specific ideal customer profiles (ICPs), such as IT Directors, CISOs, and network security professionals in sectors like Defense, Healthcare, and Enterprise IT.

• Participate in the strategy and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring a consistent and authoritative brand voice across all channels.

• Go beyond basic blogging to create substantial evergreen content, including migration guides, configuration templates, and "build vs. buy" whitepapers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in product marketing and professional copywriting for cybersecurity and network security products, with a solid grasp of the threat landscape as well as the product.

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking and security concepts, such as VPNs, Zero Trust architecture, SD-WAN, network segmentation, and identity-based access, with the ability to convey these topics to technical audiences without oversimplification.

• Practical experience in utilizing and managing AI writing tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar LLM-based workflows) as productivity enhancers.

• Proven ability to optimize content for both traditional search engines and AI-driven search models.

• Strong sense of differentiation and the capability to express "why ZeroTier" in a manner that appeals to both developers and C-suite executives.

• Skilled in written communication, adhering to a bold, direct, and straightforward brand voice while upholding high brand standards.

• Significant experience in enterprise-focused targeting and conversion.

• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Willingness and capability to travel domestically and potentially internationally as required.

• Familiarity with the dynamic, asynchronous environment of a high-growth SaaS company is a significant advantage.

• Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean) is also beneficial.
