Private Client Compliance – Trusts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will take charge of a varied portfolio of trusts and estates, serving as the trusted advisor and primary liaison for clients, trustees, and professional intermediaries.

• Oversee a portfolio of UK trusts and estates, ensuring a top-notch client experience.

• Review and manage trust tax returns along with annual compliance obligations.

• Examine trust accounts to guarantee all reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

• Assist Partners and Directors with trust planning, inheritance tax planning, and broader private client advisory initiatives.

• Handle trust account administration.

• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients and third-party advisors.

• Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, aiding their growth in both technical and commercial skills.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance value and provide proactive advice that truly impacts clients.

• Possess substantial experience in managing trusts, estates, and associated tax matters.

• Have a strong understanding of trust taxation, inheritance tax, and estate administration.

• Experience in reviewing trust accounts and overseeing annual trust compliance procedures.

• Excellent skills in client relationship management and the assurance to serve as a trusted advisor.

• Capability to lead, coach, and develop junior team members.

• Hold a CTA, STEP, or equivalent qualification/experience.
